breakfast-
the same soy milk broth that was served during dinner on day one! I wonder if they repeat the menu every alternate day.... hmmm.
For some reason I thought this was a pudding and was looking forward to eating this at the end BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE YOGURT LOL WHICH MAKES SENSE SINCE IT'S BREAKFAST BUT I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED
I went for a walk by the lake after breakfast and it was on my way back that I realised HOW TRANSPARENT THE RYOKAN'S ONSEN IS?? Wtheck like I can even see the light fixtures and the door leading to the locker area (the female onsen is the one at the top right hand corner, and the male onsen is to its left) omg when I looked around I noticed it's the same for all ryokans..? Omg false sense of security sia.. I gave 4 free shows during my stay...
It was an uneventful bus ride back to Tokyo so the journey only took 2hours15minutes.
Stayed at Ebisu this time round! I think I'll stay here again (or yokohama), it's less busy than Shibuya but still well connected to most places that I usually go to.
and there's a window that I can open!!! Love a room with an openable window (is openable even a word??)
and look at the view!! I can even see tokyo tower (far left) from my room!!
Went to Ginza Kagari for dinner-
It's my first time eating at the Ginza main store and ooof it was so packed!!! Like I literally had to keep both my elbows tucked the entire time. I finished my bowl within 10 minutes and left.

It was so cold and windy that day (to the point where I was walking hunched over and also had to seek shelter every few steps LOL) so I headed to Sakurai Tea at 6:30PM and asked if they could accommodate me early even though my reservation was for 8:30PM. At that point I just wanted to get the day done and over with and hide in my cosy hotel room lolol.
Luckily they had a spot for me, yay! Very interesting place serving creative tea cocktails.
Unknowingly ordered their interpretation of a singapore sling, hahaha! Only the ingredients were listed in english, so I had no idea the drink is actually called third year bancha singapore sling (written in Japanese). Even the spirit was infused with tea leaves!
Wagashi
Sencha gin and tonic
