The weather forecast said 18°C to 11°C before I flew to Tokyo, but dropped to 11°C to 8°C after I got there. Anyway, I only had one thick jacket with me so I ended up looking like I didn't change my clothes for the rest of the trip...
Another reason why I love Ebisu is because there's a blue bottle right at the Ebisu JR Station!!
I scoured the forums for locations with early blooming cherry blossoms and found a stretch of trees around Nihombashi Mitsukoshi!
Headed over to godaime hanayama udon at 10AM thinking that I would be early enough to be their first round of diners (they open at 11AM) but NOOOOOOO
The queue got exponentially longer as we approached their opening time. Maybe I'll have to start queueing at 930AM next time..
I got in at 1140AM! So it was a 1hour 40mins queue for me.
It's still so good!!
Of course I had to buy some home hahaha
