The building that houses the Sky Garden is apparently nicknamed "The Walkie-Talkie" because of its shape. Hmmmm, 还好吧...
Going up to the sky garden involves a strict airport like security check, and a free experience of being a tinned sardine (the elevator being the tin) with an awkward (but thankfully speedy) elevator ride that's jammed full till the elevator rings no.
The garden part of the attraction that, let's be real, no one was really there for LOL.
The view is the main attraction, obviously.

Visiting Leadenhall Market was quite a disenchanting experience because I was expecting it to be bigger? And just... more interesting?? Like you can literally see the end of the market in this photo.
Decided to visit SOMA Soho, which was highly recommended by a few bartenders I know.
I didn't know it was a speakeasy, and walked past the entrance twice. But even if I knew it was a speakeasy, I wouldn't have walked up to it rightaway because of how intimidating the doorman looked.
He was nice, thank god HAHA.

Overall a nice place with a super cute bartender named Olly (100% my type HAHAHA) who is also a Tool fan, bought a ticket to the concert that I went to, but had to skip it because of work.
So, with my bright asian flush and tipsy footsteps, I walked into Tommi's Burger only to be told that my card was declined.
Tipsy me thought I was cash AND cardless because I was using my phone to pay for almost everything till then, so this was quite a nightmare. But anyway I eventually recalled that I do have an alternative card stashed somewhere for times like this. Yay to my thoughtful sober self!
I don't know why Citibank marked my Tommi's Burger transaction as suspicious and decided to block my card when it was only like less than SGD20??? But they got it settled within 12 hours so yeah, no grudge held.
Yes I got my milkshake elsewhere because five guys' milkshake is the only milkshake that I approve of!!
A 10/10 burger! Arguably as good as the burger from Bunsen Burger !!
