Tower Bridge Lift // Cheese Toastie // Brick Lane
Went back to borough market for the very popular cheese toastie from Kappacasein Dairy (popular amongst Singaporeans I think because all the chinese people you see in the photo below spoke with a Singaporean accent HAHA)
Brought it over to the Tower Bridge to eat while I waited for the bridge to lift. I actually went there the day before because I thought there was a planned lift, but didn't know it was cancelled.
Not bad, I rate it a 7.5/10.
The bridge lifted up for a vessel called "Sailing Barge Will" to pass. Go google! Entire thing took about 10 minutes.
Went over to brick lane after that-
DID YOU REALLY VISIT BRICK LANE IF YOU DIDN'T VISIT ROUGH TRADE??
I scoured through many record stores in search of an a-ha vinyl for Alfe. So happy I finally found one - a first press, no less! And it cost just SGD7?!?
Didn't try a beigel this time!
Went back to my favourite cafe for a mid-afternoon break.
