food and possible food
I know I have this rule of no asian food when I'm out of asia... but it's a family meal and I wanted to try their chinese takeaway anyway.
Had a fortune cookie as well for the complete experience!
I WISH.
Laundry day!
The radiator is for drying socks, hahahah.
The cairn I made, inspired by the ones I saw at Mam Tor. I promised my auntie that I'll make her a cairn every time I visit hahaha
Beef stroganoff. This was so good!!
We went to Cannock Chase trails in hopes of spotting some deers, and we did!
I know it's terrible to feed wildlife but I wouldn't be able to see any if not for them. So, not judging as well.
Yarn bombing! Someone started this movement during Covid to spread cheer, very cute.
Sunday roast. This was on the top of my food list, mainly because I have never had a yorkshire pudding before (or don't remember having one). Anyway the meal was great but the yorkshire pudding was really quite mehhhh. The best way I can think of to describe it is it's the food equivalent of an oxymoron - crispy AND soggy.
MY HEAD SAYS GYM MY HEART SAYS GIN - yes yes yes all the time hahahah
Clearly all it takes is half a pint of cider to get me tipsy lmao
Another scone. Actually I think the highlight for all the scones I had in the UK is THE CLOTTED CREAM!! The ones we get in Singapore is just not the same.
Aston Marina
Had brunch on one of the days at this nice farm shop called Canalside farm shop. This is a Staffordshire oatcake, which is like savoury crepe with lots of fillings. I had mine with sausage and LOTS OF CHEESE. Like, ALOT.
10PM skies.
Technically a Monday roast since we had it on a monday hahaha
