At that point, I was kind of bored with the view of houses after houses. Don't get me wrong; they do look amazing, but it's just too much of something.(read: Story of having too Much Gelato)

Most of the day was spent in Toledo!

I had high expectations about Toledo because, before my trip, when I was still in the ex company, I told one of the models that I was going to Spain and she was like "you have to visit Toledo! It's my favourite city in Spain, it's amazing!" and so in my mind I was like ah ok Toledo must be really beautiful.

Anyway, Toledo was pretty meh to me. Maybe my expectations were too high. Or maybe she hasn't been to Seville.

Apparently these were some of the actual chains used by the Muslims to chain the Christians back then :0 And when the Christians were freed, eventually, they decided to hang the chains on the sides of the cathedral to express their gratitude to God for getting them freed, or something like that.

不舒服~

You can choose to zipline across the river!

Was really tempted to do so but then I realised how lame it was because you actually have to walk back across the bridge to this side again to return the helmet and harness. Seriously.

Lunch!

Saw this when we got to Madrid! Illegal vendors selling all sorts of fake goods along the streets. And they are quite smart actually; the white cloth beneath their goods acts as a storage bag. I don't know what's the design exactly, but when they see the police, they'll pull a rope/string that's attached to the 4 ends of the cloth and it was close up and become a huge bag, with all the goods inside.

In Madrid most of the vendors we saw were Africans while in Barcelona, most of the vendors were Bangladesh/Indians.

A hyper realistic painting of the Spanish Royal Family by Antonio López García, who took 18 years to finish this painting?!

When we first saw the painting I was like "hey the Prince looks pretty handsome" and then the curator said that the painting took 18 years to finish and the then-Prince, who is the King now, definitely does not look that dashing lmao (go search Felipe VI of Spain)
