
headed to tippling club for pre-dinner drinks!

Came here for my birthday dinner with Ehren last year and we've always wanted to come back for their drinks!

Apparently they've just introduced their new drinks menu last week, so they are still fine tuning some drinks

Most of the drinks were really good! Except for this mulled wine-esque drink (called First Love) which tasted more like pi pa gao. Not a problem if you like pi pa gao I guess...

and then we had dinner at Tribal dining-

Satsuma Tomatoes | pomelo, endives, sorrel, dashi, wasabi - I love tomatoes and this is a good tomato dish hahaha

Hamachi Crudo | charred orange ponzu, pickled jicama, ikura

Fried Duck Neck | house spice, mint nam pla

Clarence River Prawns | smoked chicken fat, laksa gremolata, wasabina

Flatbread | abura miso butter - omg this was SO GOOD. The butter was good, but the flatbread alone was good too!

Seafood Sharing Rice Pot | seasonal seafood, tare, fried shirasu, ikura, spring onion
We also ordered the Mushrooms Sharing Rice Pot (not pictured), but I like this seafood one better.

Octopus | sambal bajak, green papaya

1.2kg Blue Fin Tuna Collar | balinese salsa, sweet potato leaves - I really liked this one, surprisingly!

Iberico Pork Chop | kampot pepper bbq glaze, charred seasonal vegetable - super tender!

Celeriac Mille-Feuille | ponzu honey glaze, macadamia - this was a flop
