fujikawaguchiko // day 1
took a bus to kawaguchiko, but what should have been a 2.5hours bus ride turned into 5 hours because of a massive jam on the highway. ooooooooof
Stayed at a small ryokan called asafuji! The onsen was a bit basic (very small pool and shower area, but I think there's only 13 rooms in the ryokan) but other than that the room was comfortable and clean!
view from my room-
headed to the popular lawson aka the prettiest lawson in Japan. It was quite chaotic over there because there were sooo many people trying to have a picture with the lawson but the sidewalk across the street is only that wide.
was super lucky the grab the LAST mt fuji bread!!
It was surprisingly good and I finished the entire loaf in a go?! But I was also super hungry then since I missed lunch, no thanks to the prolonged bus ride. Anyway, I would buy it again!
A kaiseki dinner (and breakfast) was provided by the Ryokan.
Everything was quite nice, I'll rate it a 7/10. The one in Hakone last year was a lot nicer, in comparison.
