Seven Dials Market was just a 10 minutes walk away from my hotel.
Broke my no asian food in asia rule AGAIN but there's no way I'm leaving London without having their famous roast duck?? So, I ordered roast duck rice from Deliveroo and omg their efficiency is on a whole other level??
So when I placed my order, it says estimated delivery time would be about 25 minutes, which I thought was enough time for me to shower. BUT OMG IT CAME IN LIKE 15 MINUTES AND I WAS LIKE STILL IN THE SHOWER WHEN THE RIDER CALLED!!
And also they have this system where you need to give the rider your code to confirm that you are the recipient, so for people who are asking why couldn't he have left the order with the reception, here you go.
Another highlight being the name, too.
Tried the roast duck from Gold Mine this time, and it's really good! I think it's similar to the one from Dian Xiao Er in Singapore HAHAH DON'T @ ME PLS.
Their wanton was legit too! Like really wrapped full with pork and shrimp.
100% would stay in this hotel again because everything's just perfect! Great location, close to public transport (and lots of options), nice room-
I forgot to take a photo of the toilet, but it's in those vintage tiled design, clean and pretty.
Flew back home with two bags! I didn't really shop, but just wanted to distribute the weight to two bags so I bought a gym bag from Nike.
Overall I'm just really happy that I got to travel to one of my favourite places before I bid goodbye to my youth.
