cherry blossom season

I find that the cherry blossoms display this year pales in comparison to previous years, especially pre-covid. Like it's mainly just thin branches of cherry blossoms this year instead of legit, sturdy looking small trees.

That said, praise should be given where it's due. Kudos to Gardens by the Bay for organising this every year! I have been to Japan many times but have only seen cherry blossoms there once, and it's not even in full bloom but just some trees of late bloomers. So basically I think it's fair to say 99% of the cherry blossoms I've seen in my life happened in Singapore LOL
