All my dine out plans are foiled, once again. Nothing's really new in this new normal.
I brought Piko to see a physiotherapist at RehabVet (yes, I am just as surprised as you are that there's such a service for pets) and came across this super cute dog which reminds me of a Pokémon.
His owner wasn't even half as friendly as he was so I didn't get to ask about his breed.
Anyway, Piko has post-traumatic arthritis and luxating patella (kneecap that's out of place). It's not a new issue, neither is it bringing him a lot of pain. But we are hoping to improve his mobility and get him to enjoy his walks again.
Piko enjoying his laser therapy.
His bill came up to $1735.15 - $1400 for a package of ten sessions, $195 for his first consultation, and $140.15 for his supplements. I don't know how effective the treatment will be, but this sure is a lucrative market.
