Always a joy to be back at my favourite place.
It's my first time ordering their bread basket (it's not complimentary, and we were ravenous). Sadly, this proved to be a disappointment because they were stale. But thankfully this was the only disappointment of the evening so yayy their spot in my heart remains uncontended.
Got a surprise mocktail that has yuzu and ginger in it.
1st Dish: Burrata and Argentinian Shrimps
2nd Dish: Seafood Custard and Lotus Chips
3rd Dish: Fish, Octopus, Garlic Leaves and Celeriac
4th Dish: White Asparagus with French Potatoes two ways
5th Dish: Confit Yolk, Peas and Cured Pork
6th Dish: Flank Steak, Beef Cheek, with Miso
7th Dish: Strawberry and Champagne
8th Dish: Chocolate and Blood Orange Sorbet
This is my favourite dish of the night, and I think this is also the best dessert I've had at Chef's Table so far. That sponge looking perforated chunk is actually hazelnut mousse. Everything was amazing on its own, and goes well with the other elements too. 10/10
I actually requested for a printed menu but forgot to take it from them when I left, which explains the really vague dish descriptions LOL
But anyway, it's still my favourite place and I hope to be back again soon!!
