As much as I don't want to sound like a narcissist, my birthday is a big deal. It's never just a day, but a season of celebration (LOL). But really, I love celebrating birthdays, not just my own - but of course I love mine the most.
Frustratingly, the circuit breaker just had to stretch through my birthday.
I was expecting it to be a dull birthday since the social aspect was completely removed, but it turned out to be the most memorable one of all with all the edible love that I received.
See, it's easy to win me over. Just buy me food.
Xinyu started the festivities with a No Occasion occasion cake the weekend before. The funny thing is, I was looking at this cake on the webstore the exact moment when the cake was delivered. You can't make this shit up.

This was on the night before my birthday, which makes it two years in a row where I had Pizzaface on said night. Pizzaface is the best.

If not for Covid, I would have spent my birthday in LA, which would be nice too, but probably not as nice as to be reminded of how loved and blessed I am. Material exchange is never a measure of the strength of a friendship, but if it were, then I sure am the one of the luckiest (and undeserving) person around.
Anyway, here's me telling Piko that he'll be next if he doesn't behave.
