Forbidden City again.

Tried 豆腐脑 for breakfast! It's a savoury tofu dish, nothing like the sweet 豆花 we are used to in Singapore. Didn't like it at all.

Don't you like how they only showed a RMB40 option for the translated version? It's like if you can only understand the English sign, then it's automatically RMB40 for you.

Which makes sense. We went with the chinese guide.

The guide automatically plays according to your location. And it serves as a map too! Very handy.

Went for dinner at a restaurant called 局气. It has a similar menu to 真地道京味府, albeit pricier.

I rate this my second best meal in Beijing.

Qianlong cabbage! So so so good.

Jing jiang rou si. Really good too!

Fried tofu.

Ordered this without knowing that it's actually just glutinous rice coated with sugar. Off to the bin it went because I can't eat glutinous rice.
