Loughrigg Fell on a rainy day
it wasn't a good day to go hiking at all. It was drizzling heavily, which made the hike up slippery surfaces harder than it already is for someone who isn't a even a seasoned hiker. And coupled with the disappointing views since it's all foggy/rainy/dull
But I was a tourist with no options. It's not like I could return on another day to do the hike instead. That was the day I had allocated for the hike, so that's the day I got to do it, rain or shine.
It was still a great hike, feast for the eyes and soul, even. Especially at sections where there weren't any footpaths, it felt exhilarating to just "create" your own path; you can go any way you want to go.

slug!! my first time seeing one #suaku
almost everything on me was graciously loaned to me by some really nice people. The jacket, the rucksack, the pants, the walking stick, even the shoes and waterproof socks?!
It's actually pretty expensive to own your own full set of gear, I suppose. But if I had the chance and easy access to such beautiful walking grounds, it would make sense for me to own a full set, right?
I foolishly brought just 1 bottle of water for the 5 hours hike. I was beyond thirsty halfway through LOL
