Park Güell (& the journey to and fro)
We decided to visit Park Güell after hearing from many different people how beautiful the place is!
Just like the many other attractions all over Spain, you have to purchase a ticket with a specific time slot. You can only enter according to the time slot on your ticket. No entry if you are too early or too late, because they want to limit the number of visitors in the attraction. But there's no time limit as to how long you can stay in there. So normally, towards the afternoon, it (still) gets pretty crowded.
So my advice is to go as early as possible, if you want to take pictures with less tourists in them!
I didn't take a photo with the main attraction in the park (a tiled Chameleon sculpture) because it was so damn crowded and basically 10 people are taking photos with the sculpture at each go.
And I happened to hear this English tourist saying "fucking asians, taking a million pictures before they are willing to leave" which I thought was really damn rude. (his remark probably wasn't directed at the 2 of us but to the other Japanese and Korean tourists there) So I shot him a death glare, anyway, taking offense since I'm Asian, and remarked loudly "fucking racist, thinks he is the only one who can speak English"
and I think his partner heard that and she looked at me unhappily so I just glared back at her (I even formulated a defense plan if they decided to come over and pick a fight. My plan was to simply fall onto the floor before they even touch me and I'll scream for help LOLOLOL)
I just felt so upset about people who think they are above all and seriously, dude, you better only take 1 photo when it's your damn turn.
"quick, make it look like i'm in a desert"
we got lost on our way home while trying to look for a bus stop lmao
so were basically walking around, albeit frustrated, and stopped for pictures here and there hahah
