A few weeks back I was presented with the opportunity of traveling to Seoul for work, which I took up readily since I've never been to Seoul before. Plus I also had the option of extending my stay, which makes it even better (air tickets saved!)
It's amazing how thoughts turn into reality. I think it was last month when I watched an episode of running man where they went to Everland, and I thought "ahh I want to go to Everland!" and then shortly after, I had this opportunity to go to Seoul (& go to Everland). And not just this, in May I suddenly had this thought where I would be spending my birthday overseas on a roadtrip (like it just came to me suddenly) and guess what! I went to Australia (for work, too) and also had a little roadtrip there.
I'm so lucky
Here's some photos taken while I was at work. The quality of photos from this set is not very good since it doesn't make sense for me to carry my camera all the time like a tourist since I'm working..

We went to a vintage toy museum before dinner!

I even saw my favourite paper dolls! Ahh such memories.

Our first meal in Korea! The photo you see above is actually part 2 of our dinner, and keep in mind that we were already so stuffed by then! Dinner was a 3 hours affair. Fancy.
In short, it's their culture to serve lots and lots and lots and lots (and lots) of food to their guests, so the amount of food we had every meal was O.O *gulps*
For our first dinner, we were eating for like an hour and a half already and thought we were done, and so we asked the server if there's dessert? But who knows the guy went "oh this is just the starters, we'll serve the mains (pictured above) now"
but it was a good meal.

My room!

View from my room^^

Bun from Paris Baguette! (I skipped the hotel breakfast) Paris Baguette is surprisingly disappointing! There's no egg pudding! So you mean... egg pudding is a special item just for Singapore? I was so looking forward to trying the egg pudding in Seoul, thinking that it'll probably taste better since it's right at the country of origin. Well.

Passed by this hill of houses which reminded me of the hill of houses in Turkey?

Lunch at a very posh steakhouse at Gangnam! I had fish of course.

While we were at the salon, I was looking at the posters they had around and SAW THIS. omg *fan girl alert* Ji chang-wook!
Totally didn't care about this thing called professionalism and squealed on the spot.
And took a photo.
And told the Korea staff that he is so handsome.
So anyway, we still had abit of time to spare so we explored Gangnam and Apgujeong Rodeo for abit.

Lunchbox for dinner~

The K-indie scene is really really vibrant! I did follow the k-indie scene for abit some time back, and I already know it's amazing. But hearing it live is a completely different story. Chills man.

Korean fried chicken for supper! See this is what I mean by lots and lots of food. The amount you see is for 4 people.
Yup.
Stay tuned for more photos from my own extension!
