The main aim of our trip is to visit Tanjong Jara Resort, which is a 9 hours drive away from Singapore so we decided to have a layover at Genting on our way there, and then have a layover at KL on our way back.
Genting:

Feels so weird to see the familiar theme park gone. Hope the Fox theme park will be good though!

Anyway the reason why I think this trip is super deluxe is because we ate nothing but good food, like legit GOOD, and all the hotels we stay at are really good too!
Even the hotel at Genting! I have never had any good experience with the hotels at Genting but this time round we stayed at Maxims hotel, and the room is really clean! (Cleanliness is on the top of my hotel check list)
Back on the road:

Tanjong Jara:

PRETTY OR WHAT. The place is located in some small village at Terengganu.
Anyway I just copied this quote from wikipedia (about Terengganu):
Tourists dressed in shorts and skimpy tops are really out of place in this state.Terengganu, an islamic state, have their "weekends" on Friday and Saturday, instead of our usual Saturday and Sunday! But anyway, it's just to let you understand how's that place like. But we were sheltered in the resort most of the time where all of us are clad in shorts and "skimpy tops". It was only when we went to the market one morning where I felt really out of the place, lol.
And have I mentioned that we were the only asians in the resort, apart from the staff? Felt damn weird.
And these Caucasians/Europeans/Americans/whatever take their tanning really seriously. They really just lounge by/in the pool for the whole day (while we run towards the closest shelter)

Our room! Our room is something like a villa. Huge... with a toilet that's even bigger than my own room. The room is really comfy so I think we spent half of our time there hiding in the room (it was too sunny for us to want to do anything outdoors anyway)

Our view during lunch!
The food there is YUMZ.

Tic-Tac-Toe board

Tiniest kitten I've ever seen! (at the market)
KL:

THE ONLY PLACE WE WILL EAT IN KL. It's a Japanese restaurant at Mid-valley, and their scallops are out of this world.
IT MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH.
So of course, we had dinner and lunch the next day over there. And the lady at the restaurant recognizes us! She's like "oh so how many days are you guys staying here this time round?" and she even gave us complimentary mangoes and jellies HAHAHA but well it is really good.
Way back:
