Went to see the nighttime illumination at Rikugien Garden but it was so disappointing LOL

This is supposed to be the highlight of the illumination but the tree hadn't blossomed yet.
It was really quite a spooky experience walking through the garden because there were so few people so imagine walking through a dimly lit garden with no one around you most of the time. I wasn't even sure if I was heading towards the right direction (it was a one-way route). It's a ticketed event! Ticket was about SGD10.
