I've always wanted to see rows and rows of cherry blossom trees in full bloom (the ones in gardens by the bay doesn't count...), and finally (!) the right opportunity came and I decided to bank on a set of dates which I hoped they would bloom, based on the dates they bloomed in 2023.
Things didn't go the way I hoped (though the weather turned out great when I went; it was raining all week after I left), but there were people sharing on forums that Shioiri Park 汐入公園 had early blooming trees!

To me, this song is the epitome of spring and I've always wanted to listen to this song under a cherry blossom tree! Finally got to do it and I never want to forget that moment!
Also, there was an earthquake when I was on the train towards Shioiri Park. I didn't feel anything but the highlight for me was seeing and hearing alerts chiming from so many people's phones at the same time hahah
