The last time I visited Desaru was probably more than 15 years ago. So much has changed! But so did the prices hahaha booooo.
We had a RM400 credit to use in the hotel (but it can't be spent on alcohol and in-room dining), so we had dinner at the hotel's beach bar.
This chicken with I don't know what sauce (there's definitely coconut) is amazing!!
We drove over to this lobster restaurant which is very popular amongst singaporeans for dinner the next day.
Hahah we misunderstood what the waitress said when we asked for the price of their lobsters. She said "ohh about RM240" which we assumed was RM240 per lobster. But actually she meant RM240 per KG. So we only ordered 2 lobsters, and we were complaining how expensive it is for a lobster this tiny. Turns out this lobster only cost RM90 LOL.
Feels like Malaysia has truly upped their tourism game!
