Claudine is touted as a neighbourhood French restaurant which I'm sure most Singaporeans don't agree with in terms of price point and vibes, but they are also not wrong to term themselves that because they are planted in an affluent neighbourhood and that league swings differently.
Claudine takes over the space of White Rabbit, and while the new interior is pretty, I still prefer White Rabbit's simpler interior which I find more fitting for the heritage building.

Considering that this costs $178, their namesake dish wasn't great at all. It was OKAY.

This dish tasted like sarsi/rootbeer which I am not a fan of, and we were perplexed enough to raise this to the staff, and they said there's orange blossom in there.
I thought it answered nothing because it's like asking hey why does this taste spicy and for them to tell you oh there's peanuts in it. I've had food and drinks with orange blossom before and they've never tasted like sarsi??
This was my favourite dish of the night.
I'll rate my overall experience a 6.5/10. Service was friendly but not attentive, and food was just okay. The bill came up to $391 for everything pictured.
I would probably rate it a 9/10 if it was $120 LOL
And also, I now know for sure that I am not a fan of traditional french cuisine. French fusion and french influenced are okay, just not traditional french. That's a fact that cost me over a thousand bucks (by dining at Odette, Mirazur, and Claudine) to realise.
