And Jervis' birthday. Had dinner at Habibi-san (which is a Japanese-Middle Eastern place as the name suggests). Artichoke is still the place to go if you are looking for Middle Eastern fusion, but Habibi-san is a worthy contender with the edge of offering great drinks (it shares a place with Bar Stories)
Scratched Roman's neck while clinching for the first time. Clinching is so difficult and I hope to never clinch again LOL. I literally wasn't even able to lift my head upright and my body was barely held together by tiger balm patches for the next two days.
Went to this new spot called Marcy's with Chinyee. Great vibes with decent food.
Potato pavé!!! It's my first time having it and it's amazinggg. I suppose you can easily make it at home but lol that's too much effort.
Crab toast
Wine Braised Octopus and Beef Tendon Rigatoni. It was okayyy, there's a gelatinous texture to it which I didn't really enjoy.

Went over to Carolyn's beautiful new home for the first time. Also my second family (How many second families do I have? Who cares? Who's counting?)
Super pretty Paiste black cymbals and wavy hi-hat that produces a very crisp sound which I reallyyyyyy want!! But it's just going to end up as a display piece if I do get them because I've converted my drums to a low volume set-
All heads and cymbals are on loan from shifu, but do seem like a worthy investment in the long run.
