Gjógv: Birthday
The plan was to hike over the hills to Ambadalur, which is a great vantage point to see the tallest sea stack in the Faroes, Búgvin.
But the weather wasn't great; it was drizzling and windy, the kind of wind where I had to stop walking whenever it blew, which made the hike harder than it already was.
It was slippery (try walking uphill on wet grass!), and my lack of proper footwear didn't help either. So I gave up two hours into the hike, and headed back down.
See that white patch at around the 11 o'clock position on the photo? That's the roof of a shed, which I had to climb over. That was fun.
Milo: 暖心暖身
I love the freedom of travelling alone. You can wander off to wherever you want, and rest for however long you like for however long you wish. I sat at this spot for a good two hours, at least.
And here, for another hour.
And that's my birthday cake, a Speculoos mousse cake, I believe.
'twas a great birthday!
