I looked like crap and was doubting my choice of outfit throughout (given that it was a fashion event) but anyway I ended up staying at the reception most of the night, catching up with the crew! The only few moments where I stepped into the gallery was to 1) get wine 2) say bye
A year ago I joined the fashion industry, though I quit 4 months later because of how brutal it was.
Sometimes, I miss the drama and fun. But really, I'm just not cut out for it.
But my biggest takeaway is the awesome bunch people I got to work with, and are still so welcoming. How lucky am I? Always thankful.
