La Taperia

I miss Spain so much! The people, the food, the scenery, the people, the culture, the language, the people (have I mentioned the people already?)

Went to La Taperia last night with my jiejies! The food was amazing

This plate of mess which looks less than appetising is actually my favourite of the night! It's called:

HUEVOS ESTRELLADOS CON PATATAS PAJA, CHORIZO, PIMIENTO DEL PIQUILLO Y CHAMPIÑONES Fried egg with ibérico chorizo, piquillo red pepper, mushroom & straw potato (Thank you, menu)

Here's my second favourite: thick cut fries!

I'm usually not a fan of thick cut fries, but this is SO CUTE OMGGGGG. It has the same crispiness as thin cut fries, but all the inner mushy goodness of thick cut fries.Words can't describe how good it actually was.

As for the suckling pig confit.. I didn't like it then in Spain, and still don't like it now. It's far too gamey for my liking.

ok this was THE BOMB ♥ Chocolate marquise topped with baked almond praline

It has the same texture and taste as ice cream, but it doesn't melt! I was mindblown. IT'S SOOOOO GOOD.

I had problems with the focus settings while we were trying to take a group shot, and this photo happened. An unintentional good shot I guess, hahaha
