Day 3: Prague (continued)
The view from Charles Bridge
Interestingly, there seems to be love locks on most of the bridges. Guess they are not particular about the bridge...
Astronomical Clock on the old town square.
went for a lunch cruise!
and we saw these cute stray dogs! Such poor little things :( If I can only choose to support one cause, it would definitely be animals related. Anything about animals tug my heartstrings :(
and the white one looks like my kira! aww man I just want to cuddle him and bring him home.
I forgot what's the name of this market but it's basically a tourist scam. We paid 30 over SGD for a pint of berries which weren't even sweet.
New town
what a cute pair of kicks! I guess everything's cute when it's small.
and for those of you who, like me, have always believed that Bata is a Malaysian brand... IT IS ACTUALLY AN EUROPEAN BRAND. SAY WHATTTTTTTTTT
And the Bata there is so different from the ones in Singapore & Malaysia. It's so much classier and the shoes/bags/apparels they sell are so much nicer than the ones here.
(For those of you who are not from Singapore/Malaysia and have no idea why I'm so excited: Bata is a Footwear store that many of us frequent, as students, to get school shoes.)
Pretty sunset!
Trdelnik! Which is like a crispier, cinnamon-flavoured doughnut. Yumz
Mulled wine on the left and warm apple cider on the right!
Back at the Astronomical clock to catch the procession of the Twelve Apostles on the hour! When the clock strikes, the two small doors at the top of the face will open, and small figurines will glide by.
Also, the clock looks really pretty at night! Reflecting light and looking like it's in gold.
