Day 2: Valencia → Granada
Toured Valencia City for abit in the morning before heading off to Granada!
Valencia Football Club's Stadium, which you may know it as Peter Lim's football club.
where's everyone?
Anyway I found the buildings in Valencia really interesting, with lots of futuristic and dated futuristic buildings. For example, I find the buildings in the photo above kind of dated, like it was probably seen as very ambitious and futuristic 30 years ago, but now it just feels abit tacky. And when you have a whole town filled with such buildings and new, modern looking futuristic structures like the one below, it's a very interesting sight.
Horchata drink, which is something like the Spanish version of Soy Milk. Suuuuuuuuper sweet. We only managed to stomach down 1/3 of the cup and had to throw it away..
Lunch at the service station! The tuna pasta is super yumz! Next time I'll try making pasta with tuna as well.
Tea break at another service station.
Chanced upon a group of locals all dressed up for some charity event. What they do is they use a tractor to pull another vehicle behind, and they go from door to door down the street to collect food donations AND THE CHILDREN IN THAT HOUSEHOLD HAHAHAH. Like they'll go to the house, get the food, get the children, and place them in the vehicle behind. I found it so cute and funny though I have no idea what's with grabbing the children. (There were a couple of crying kids but most of them seemed to be having fun.)
Cave house museum! Found it a little creepy.
