Long story short:
- I am now using a new computer (yay!) though I would very much prefer to change a computer not because I have to, but because I want to. Meaning, not before I have the chance to save all my work and do a proper transition :(
- Had the biggest scare of my life when my external hard disc, which was my only back up, was corrupted and all the files in there disappeared. But anyway, most of it was recovered so all's good now. I said most, because I thought everything was recovered until this morning when I was looking for an album in the hard disc and I couldn't find it. But thankfully I have the CD anyway so all's good. Photos wise... those that I can remember are around. Those that I've forgotten, I would rather they remain forgotten lest I get another bout of heartache :(
- Have decided to do my backup on cloud storage now
- Bought vsco film pack (pack 5 anyone?) because I figured, well new computer, new start, so let's get something exciting to try! But with this new purchase comes with new problems such as having to take photos in RAW format now, which isn't a big problem, just that each photo will take up alot of file space so in short, I'm thinking this is definitely an impulse buy.
Lots of backlog blogging to do but well, at least the computer is running now!
