This post is on my 2nd day in Kyoto!
My goldfish memory can't name out all these places that I've been to, probably since I wasn't the one who did the research on where to go and stuff. So... let's just look at the photos.
If I didn't remember wrongly, this shrine is visited by many students to pray for success in their studies. Just look at the queue! I can only assume that those non-students in line are parents.
Golden Pavilion! Some things just look more beautiful from afar, such as this one.
Had lunch at Kaiten Sushi!
They have this super cool belt which delivers food to your table! Which reminds me of an article I just read (you can read it here)
on invisible service. Something like citizenM hotel which I stayed in London (which is also mentioned in the article), where you get service but you don't see the people serving you.
See! The food you order gets transported on the belt and will stop at your table.
The normal sushi conveyor belt, which I think is more difficult to use than the ones in Singapore because of that bubble cap. There is a certain technique to removing the plate. If it's not done correctly, then it will lead to a chain of problems. In short, it's toublesome.
Then we went to some market which is only held on the 21st of every month!
Then we went to another shrine.
And we had dinner at kichi kichi, which serves life changing omurice.
It's hidden in an alley, which makes it easy to miss unless you are determined to find it. It's a very small place which only sits 7, so you definitely have to make a reservation in advance!
ERMAHGERD. Okay let's rewind things abit.
SEE SEE SEE, IT JUST FLOWS DOWN LIKE A WATERFALL.
Anyway, you can watch the video of it here.
