But in all honestly, I didn't go for the cars/race anyway.

我是抱著一個看演唱會的心態去的!!
For the past few years, I have been patiently waiting for 五月天 to be included as one of the headline acts at F1, and then I have cursed numerous times when I found out that 五月天 wasn't part of the F1 lineup.
And then finally this year, they are here to perform at F1!
It's a big deal, at least for me. And I was praying the whole time while queuing yesterday that the whole Padang better be filled so that it will look good for them (and hopefully for the remaining acts the Padang won't be as filled HAHAH okay just hoping.) like you know, a Chinese act is so popz HAHAHA
I had already planned to go queue and catch the concert alone but I met Sockling and her friends at the Padang entrance!
You have no idea how queuing alone is like; I can't even pee in peace without fearing that my spot (& bag) will be gone when I'm back!

After years of always queuing alone (okay not exactly alone everytime; there's this 1 other Mayday fan who will join me occasionally), I really feel that having company is a luxury! We even had a picnic. This is not possible if I were to queue alone.
Anyway we managed to get quite a decent up front spot! Probably like 10th human row from the stage. Which I think is really impressive considering there's reportedly 40,000 people according to Straits Times?!
The Padang was really packed! It actually reminded me of those overseas music festivals like Glastonbury and Rock am Ring. But aiyah cannot compare lah. We queued for 7 hours to get an up close spot last night. But for those overseas music festival I'm sure they will have to queue for days.
Photos!

Mandatory mid-gig wefie. Here's the 11 of us!
Having a bad case of post-concert depression right now which is so awful.
谢谢你伴我成长, 谢谢你让我坚强。
谢谢你教我梦想, 谢谢你叫我倔强。
谢谢你, 五月天。
