I have to admit that I'm a really bad friend. I don't make the effort to remember people's birthday. 2 weeks ago I asked Ter if she could meet me yesterday, totally oblivious to her hint of "I might have other plans". It was only on Wednesday that I remembered about her birthday and went "ok shit."
But anyway, I already knew what I wanted to give her so the present wasn't an issue
I made it myself, which explains the quality.
And I received a present from her too!
To which I said "I'M NEVER TAKING THIS OFF MY WRIST UNTIL A MAN COMES INTO MY LIFE."
Had dinner at Concetto by Saveur!
Grilled Octopus Salad - Yumz! The salad dressing is amazing.
The mains were meh. And the portion was so small! How can 4 small wantons (tortellini) fill me up. NOPE, NOT HAPPENING.
Anyway, the highlight of the night was a surprise KTV session organized by zhao and gang! It was supposed to be a surprise, but it ended up being quite badly executed LOL. We (see first photo) were supposed to bring her to POMO and then zhao and gang will ambush her but somehow it ended up with Marcus coming over to POMO and brought her over to the KTV place and I was like OKAY HOW IS THIS A SURPRISE.
And it was really funny because it looked as if we were in some sleazy pub!
