I got off from work late yesterday and made this pretty lady wait for me for over an hour?! I feel so bad, even till now:(
And we got lost while looking for the place we wanted to go. For some reason, we always have a very poor sense of direction whenever we are together. Either that, or weird experiences on public transports. Only when I'm with her, lol.
We were looking for Yong Siak Street, and ended up walking in an entirely different direction. Thank god for Google maps which sent us back on track. Conclusion is: Only go to Yong Siak when you are driving there.
We tried PoTeaTo! Heard some mixed reviews about this place, but I've still always wanted to try it because I think a couple of my friends have worked here before?

Seafood aglio olio which is really good! They are really generous with their seafood^^
Salmon which is nice but I'm sorry, Spruce has set the standard real high for me.
White chocolate cheese cake which is nice too!
I was eating non-stop yesterday; I think I almost spent the whole afternoon at work eating?!
We had lunch, and then went for ice cream at macs because we were waiting for someone, and then we moved on to another cafe for more dessert.
And I'm talking about this kind of dessert:

Okay so anyway, here's the news.
I'll not be spending my birthday in Singapore because I'll be away on a work trip!
Very excited about the work trip even though it'll be a rough 3.5days with a lot of things to do, but it's my first work trip and I'm very excited about everything because I'm still green, you know, the overly excited newcomer lol.
Super thankful to be able to go! I really think it'll be fun (:
