Christmas at brother's place! (& a night full of weird shots)
Photobucket

Inggrid, boss, brother and I decided to celebrate Christmas in a special way (as opposed to dining out) by cooking our own Christmas feast!

We thought it would be easy, I thought it would be cool and easy, but I overlooked the point about how I was the only one who knew how things worked in the kitchen. GOODNESSSSS GUYSS WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HOME ECONS SKILLS!?! Photobucket
This is brother's attempt of helping out haha! Well he did help out in the end. After spending at least half an hour figuring out (and in the end decided to give up) how to use their unconventional lever type can opener (which is very unlike the usual modern opener with a double wheel), I decided to use the dangerous way of using a chopper to open the can. (which brother picked up really quickly and opened all the other cans. Have to give him a gold star for his efforts!)

Our menu for that night was:

Starters
  • Salad (with grapes)
  • Cream of Chicken soup
  • Garlic Bread
Main Course
  • Hawaiian Pizza
  • Honey Roasted Chicken
  • Black Pepper Roasted Chicken
Dessert
  • Raspberry and Vanilla Ice cream
  • Strawberry Cheese Cake
  • Authentic Baklava from Turkey
I think it's pretty obvious by now that we overestimated our appetites and cooked far too much food. But well, it's a great experience. Now we know what to do, and what not to do!
